Stuttgart is on the move when it comes to climate protection: the State Capital will be one of five municipalities in Baden-Wuerttemberg to draw up a model plan for climate mobility by the end of 2022. This plan is to help the City of Stuttgart significantly reduce traffic CO2 emission.

The technical development of the climate mobility plan will involve representatives from organisations, associations and initiatives in the mobility and transport sector and residents and commuters selected at random.

Existing concepts will be evaluated, new goals and an implementation concept developed.

The general public will be involved with kick-off and information events and the city’s participation portal.

The principle of car sharing is simple: you reserve the car of your choice by phone or on the Internet, you pick it up from the parking zone of the car rental provider, drive it for as long and far as you want and then return it to a parking zone nearby. You are normally charged per kilometre based on the distance you have travelled.
