Families welcome! Stuttgart municipality has a varied range of child care services for children of all ages and many schools. In addition, there is financial support and counselling services for families.

The Youth Welfare Office of the City of Stuttgart coordinates and offers an  advisory service and special assistance for families with many external agencies. The main goal is protecting and supporting children and young people and providing relief for the parents.

The Youth and Family advisory centres are your contact point for any questions concerning family and children. They offer advice on general social issues and benefits and also offer specific advice on family life and parenting. The advisory centre can also help you with psychological counselling and in the case of separation, divorce and parental custody. 

Stuttgart also offers various educational programmes for parents –  parenting seminars, sponsorship programmes, educational mentors.

Stuttgart municipality has a varied and comprehensive range of child care services for children of all ages. The Team  Kitaservice/Family Information Service will advise you on the best option for you and your situation.
